So, I read this first book ages ago and it took me a minute to m everything. Luckily Gray did a little recap in the beginning. I usually hate recaps in novels. I feel like it takes away from the space for what comes next. It’s usually what I blame the reason for having cliffhangers on. Irrational, I know, but I rather have more story than a recap. In this instance though I was appreciative. I always saw what the appeal of the recap was but it didn’t mean that I had to like it. Anyway this book was just as good, if not better than, the last Inter-dimensional travel is an interesting topic. It isn’t your typical subject for YA, which is usually dystopian universes. In this installment of the Firebird trilogy we see Marguerite fighting once again to save someone she loves. She finds out some unpleasantness about her life in different dimensions and she loses her way because of it. Marguerite feels so closely connected to all her other-selves that she was rocked to the core. And that cliffhanger…
