August wrap up/September Picks

Hey Guys!

So, as I wrote this I was going through an intense migraine day. Which meant at the time that I couldn’t do a wrap up video. Since this is kinda late I could’ve done a wrap up video, but I’m already committed to this medium.

To continue with my wrap up, TBR picks, and just general book nerdiness:

August has been a little slumpy for me πŸ˜…, and I DNF’d (Did Not Finish) two books. Also, my Libby priveleges have been revoked by my library, IDK why. *Update actually forgot to call them and ask why πŸ˜‚

August was not my month, clearly.

Out of the 14 books I wanted to read in August I read 6, so almost half. 5 of them were from the original 12 I picked out in the beginning of August. I had two that I was trying to finish under the wire, “How to hang a Witch,” and “Broken Prince.”

*Update: I finished “Broken Prince” September 2nd and I’m still working on “How to Hang a Witch.”

Without further ado, here are the September 7. Oh by the way I was playing “September” by Earth, Wind, and Fire while I wrote this on September 1st.

September Seven

  • The Girl in the Spider’s Web by David Lagercrantz

  • Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding
  • 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz
  • The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
  • Leah on the off Beat by Becky Albertali

  • Stolen by Kelley Armstrong
  • Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

*New Rule for my reading habits:

When I finish the first three of the 7 I will pick out an e-book to read. That way I’m working on both physical and electronic TBR’s at the same time.

Oh, also I bought a book stamp so now I can stamp my books instead of writing my name!

Wish me luck for a non-slumpy month.

Happy Reading
