What happens when you take justice into your own hands? Well, apparently death. Amber’s life unraveled when her sister died and her dad’s company went under. She had one goal and one goal only. Get into the damn best movie scoring program at the best school. She became so obsessed with the goal that she befriended the one person she shouldn’t have, got into a relationship she shouldn’t have, and lost her best friend and herself in the process. She still thought she could have it all and that made her desperate to make things right. But when people makes plans god laughs, right?
Amber’s plans for the escape room of truth end gruesomely. How else can things turn out when you try to force people to change? The truth is never that straightforward and usually messy. Amber loses everything she ever wanted in the end but she takes responsibility for her actions and that is something I do respect. She could’ve let it all fizzle out and not come forward but I guess that defeats the lesson she forced down her friends throats. You are responsible for you own happiness and your actions. You can’t make someone behave the way you wish and the more you try the more disastrous the results.
